1. Ideas for Enjoying Wild Places

Build a den! Collect branches and leaves and arrange them carefully to build a den. Can swap for cushions and blankets inside!

Make natural paint! Mush up some leaves, flower petals or mud and add a little water to make paint to create some natural masterpieces. Can swap for spinach or spices inside!

Make eco-friendly kites! Have a play about with some ideas for creating kites that will fly with as little wind as possible (even indoors!). See the picture to try and replicate our design if you want! This one is folded in half, with wings gently bent (rather than folded) and attached to a string.

Wild Art! When you find or spot any animals, create some art of what you have seen. Think about the colours and textures. You could even think about Edinburgh Zoo animals and spot them on our live webcams here.
