EndangeredAn animal or plant that is at serious risk of extinction. | |
ExtinctionThe dying out of a species, i.e. dinosaurs, dodo, woolly mammoth, thylacine. these species have no living individuals of that species left alive anywhere in the world. Extinction can also be sped-up by habitat destruction, over hunting, pollution, climate change and invasive species. | |
