Genetic Diversity

Genetic diversity is the biological variation that occurs within species. It makes it possible for species to adapt when the environment changes and/or supports disease resistance.

Genetic Marker

A genetic marker is a DNA sequence with a known physical location on a chromosome. Genetic markers can help us test for genetic changes, sometimes called mutations or variants, in your DNA.
