In zoos, we need to think about what we can do for animals to help them do the things they would naturally exhibit in the wild during their days and throughout their lives. This is their behaviour repertoire. Earlier we learnt about some abnormal behaviours and indicators of good and poor animal welfare.
So many elements of the care provided for an animal will impact their behaviour.
