I wonder...future minds

I wonder...?

a cartoon philosopher

Our human mind has an amazing superpower: it wonders!

When we wonder, we are thinking about something we don't know yet. It could be something small like "what animal do I feel like today?", or something huge like "how many different animals live on planet Earth?".

What do you do when you wonder?

  • Do you wrinkle your brow?
  • Do you close your eyes ever so tightly to think?
  • Do you open your eyes wide and say wow?
  • Do you daydream?

When you wonder, you are being curious. Curiosity and wonder make us ask questions. Curiosity helps us make discoveries in science, technology, engineering and create art and music.

AI - Animal intelligence to artificial intelligence

This picture of a monkey teaching a robot to communicate wasn't painted by a human! It was created by a computer using an artificial intelligence (AI) system called DALL-E.

We started by exploring primates as "living links" to our past ancestors. Are you curious about our future minds? Click on the hot-spots to learn more.
