Is the Highland Wildlife Park the same as Edinburgh Zoo?

The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland's Highland Wildlife Park is the sister site to Edinburgh Zoo where people can discover the natural world and where people can experience nature, learn about the challenges facing wildlife and  to save animals from extinction. 

The Highland Wildlife Park is open seven days a week. If you plan a visit to the park to see our incredible animals, it is really important to be aware of what to expect on the day, including limited catering options (feel free to bring a picnic!). The animal within our collection are all from cold environments like mountains and tundra.
