What is an RZSS interview like?
What can I expect to happen in an interview with RZSS?
Imagine that you are applying for the job of Highland Wildlife Park Discovery Ambassador within the Discovery and Learning Dept. An interview might go like this:
Introduction:
Introductions to the interview panel and an overview of the RZSS recruitment process, including the purpose of the panel interview and the presentation exercise
- Maximum 10 minute “public” presentation about our wolverines (fact sheet would have been provided in advance)
- 45 minutes of interview Q&A with some competency questions
- Panel members will be taking notes
- Remember, this is an opportunity for you to find out about the role and RZSS, as well as us finding out about you
- You will be given the opportunity to ask questions at the end.
"But what could I be asked in my interview with RZSS?"
Remember that during the interview the panel will be marking your answers so that they can calculate who will be the best candidate to give the job to.
Your next task: How would you answer these questions in an interview situation?
There is no single correct answer, this exercise allows you to see potential questions and it gives you the opportunity to compose possible answers.
Please note: Any information that you enter in the exercise is NOT saved. If you wish to retain the information please create it in a separate document.
