- Welcome to 'Science in the Language Class', an educational programme which provides free resources that link language learning to RZSS conservation projects across the world, or to the conservation breeding programmes within RZSS sites. All materials link to Curriculum for Excellence experiences and outcomes in science, topical science, social studies, language and literacy.

We are currently not working in any German speaking countries. However we have some resources that link to the German language which have been designed by senior students studying German at Scottish schools.

  This game was designed by the 2023-2024, S4 Employability Ambassadors, Chryston High School, North Lanarkshire. The students also created the related sound files.

This board game is designed for learning about habitat, range, adaptations, diet, breeding and threats to the black stork. The 'egg' cards are a fun element which use various language and literacy skills. The black stork used to be held at Edinburgh Zoo but has moved on to another collection.
