What is the employer looking for during an interview?
Interviews can vary depending upon the job you are applying for.
Sometimes the interview can;
- be just one person or a panel of people asking you questions
- have a practical exercise like a PowerPoint, a talk, team exercise or even a quick fire test. it can vary from employer to employer.
- have multiple phases, for example first round of interviews and then a second round of interviews depending upon the position or if they have to choose between really good applicants.
During the interview the interviewers will be taking notes of what you say, don't let this put you off just carry on and do your best.
The interviewers will also be marking you on how you answer and the depth of your answers. In order to be able to compare between the interviewees.
They might record the information on a table like this.
