This programme compares two different animals from two different countries. Learn more about the ring tailed lemur from Madagascar and the red panda from China. The resources introduce some basic vocabulary in French and are aimed at upper primary level.

L'escargot partula

This board game is designed for learning about the range, diet, habitat, threats and breeding of the Partula snails from the French Polynesia islands. The game also includes a fun 'slime trail' activity which uses language & literacy skills.

Partula snail shell bingo game

This game requires very good observational skills! 

There are over 100 species of Partula snails, you have to look closely at their shells to tell them apart. In this game there are 10 different species of snail shell to recognise. Take your time to find out whether you have the correct shell on your board. This will be slower than most bingo games but snails are slow!
